Private Family in Punta Gorda, Florida Seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper

Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper/Family Assistant
Schedule: Summer: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | School Year: Monday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM; Tuesday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Salary: $33–$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus 75% employer-paid health insurance, 2 weeks PTO, and paid holidays
Start Date: ASAP

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family in Punta Gorda, Florida is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to become an integral part of their household. Mom is home and expecting the family’s fourth child and is seeking a trustworthy right-hand person who enjoys supporting a busy household and helping everything run smoothly.

Children: Three girls, ages 2, 6, and 10, with a fourth child on the way
Home Size: Approximately 3,000 sq. ft.
Pets: None
Household Staff: No additional household staff currently employed

Responsibilities

• Perform all housekeeping duties, including deep cleaning and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home
• Manage all family laundry, including washing, folding, organizing, and putting away clothing and linens
• Iron bed linens, school uniforms, and press dress shirts as needed
• Change bed linens and provide turndown service
• Prepare and pack children’s school lunches
• Maintain household organization and ensure all areas of the home are neat and orderly
• Monitor household inventory and order supplies through Instacart
• Assist with children’s school drop-offs and pick-ups (family vehicle provided)
• Comfortably drive children to and from private school located approximately 40 minutes from the home
• Occasionally transport children to camps, activities, appointments, or fun outings when they are not in school or camp
• Assist with general household errands and special projects as needed
• Anticipate family needs and provide proactive support to Mom

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role in a private household
• Excellent references
• Legal to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving children in an SUV to and from school and activities
• Strong laundry, ironing, and garment care experience
• Experience managing household inventory and ordering supplies
• Comfortable working in a busy family environment
