Private Client in Stanfordville, NY & Hamptons Seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Nanny
Position: Full-Time Nanny
Schedule: Approximately 30–40 hours/week, with flexibility based on location and family schedule (coverage typically needed from mornings 7/8:00 am through 3/4:00 PM. Very flexible on exact days/schedule.
Salary: $35–$45/hour (DOE), with guaranteed hours + travel time/expenses reimbursed and Live-In Option when in other location

About the Family
A private family divides their time year-round between Stanfordville, NY and the Hamptons (approximately 50/50 between both homes), about a month each back and forth, and are seeking a highly flexible, warm, and engaging nanny to support their young daughter (approximately 2 years old).
This is a fit-driven role rather than a rigid schedule-based position. The family values consistency, positivity, and toddler experience. They are very involved parents and are looking for a collaborative caregiver who can adapt seamlessly between both homes and become a trusted long-term presence.
About the Role
The nanny will work across both residences. This is not a full-time live-in role; however, the nanny can stay for a few nights (typically 3–4) when they are in the alternate home, with flexibility to return home between stays.
Location Flexibility:
- Candidate may live in either Eastern Long Island / Hamptons area or update New York (Stanfordville)
- Role includes time in both Hamptons and Stanfordville throughout the year
- When the family relocates between homes, the nanny may stay with them for a few nights (3–4 nights at a time, or up to a week if desired) before returning home for time off
- In some cases, commuting is also an option depending on location and fit
Core Responsibilities
- Childcare support and supervision of one toddler (2 years old)
- Engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and play
- Light Household tasks while the mom is caring for the daughter (Laundry, tidying, meal prep, etc)
- Supporting routines, structure, and consistency across both homes
- Help with dog supervision and basic care (two family dogs – golden retriever and a medium size rescue)
Schedule & Lifestyle
- Coverage typically needed from around 7-3 or 8-4
- Prior arrangements have included 3–5 consecutive working days followed by time off, depending on location
- Family is open to structuring schedule based on the right candidate
- Schedule is known about a month in advance and planned collaboratively

Requirements
- Prior nanny experience (4+ years minimum preferred)
- Strong references
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with travel between homes and flexible scheduling
- Comfortable around dogs
- Ability to adapt to both rural (upstate) and seasonal (Hamptons) environments
Compensation & Benefits
- $35-45/hour DOE
- Guaranteed hours (30–40/week depending on arrangement)
