Position: Full-Time Live-In Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Monday–Saturday (6 days/week preferred)
Salary: $1,200–$1,500 per week (after taxes),  can be more based on experience

About the Family
This warm and welcoming family in Closter, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated and nurturing live-in nanny to provide attentive care for their two young children. The mother is often home but currently attending school and would appreciate support in organizing the children’s daily routines. The family values a structured yet flexible environment where their children can stay active, engaged, and well cared for. A full-time housekeeper is employed and handles daily cleaning.

Children: Two children – a 3-year-old and a 15-month-old
School Schedule: 3-year-old attends school from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Daily Routine: Children wake around 6:30 AM and wind down by 7:45 PM; the 15-month-old naps approximately 2 hours per day
Home Size: 4. 000 SQFT
Pets: None 
Household Staff: Full-time housekeeper employed

Responsibilities
Provide attentive, loving care to both children, including supervision and engagement in daily activities
Help organize and maintain a consistent daily routine for the children
Prepare breakfast and pack lunch for the 3-year-old’s school day
Prepare simple, healthy meals (previous nannies have also cooked for the family)
Manage children’s laundry and keep their rooms and belongings organized
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate, active play, including trips to the playground
Assist with transitions throughout the day, including school preparation, naps, and bedtime routines
Collaborate with the mother and housekeeper to ensure smooth household operations
Travel with the family domestically (Florida) and occasionally internationally as needed

Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is warm, patient, organized, and proactive, with a genuine love for working with young children. They should be energetic and enjoy engaging with active kids, while also being flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic household where a parent is often present. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Prior experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children is preferred.

Requirements
Live-in availability, with a private bedroom and full bathroom provided
Full-time commitment, working either Monday–Friday or Monday–Saturday
Experience in childcare, meal preparation, and children’s laundry
Willingness to travel with the family as needed
Reliable, trustworthy, and organized
Ability to pass background and reference checks

Must Speak Russian

Additional Notes
There is downtime during the day while the 3-year-old is at school and the younger child naps; the family is open to discussing scheduled breaks or personal time during these periods.
