Private Family Seeking a Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper (Friday–Monday Schedule)
Position: Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper
Schedule: Friday–Monday, approximately 7am – 8pm with a 1-hour daily break (12 hours per day, 4 days per week / 48 hours per week)
Salary: $45-$50/hr
Start Date: ASAP – Current Housekeepers last day is June 15
The families primary language is Spanish, so a fluent Spanish speaker is required.
Location: Split residence between Manhattan and Long Island, NY

A warm and active private family based between Manhattan and Long Island is seeking a professional, flexible, and highly capable live-in Housekeeper to support their busy household on a full-time schedule that overlaps weekends. The family is looking for someone long-term who is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fully staffed home environment.
The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting a dynamic household, be confident in the kitchen, and have a calm, team-oriented personality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall organization of the home through housekeeping duties
- Prepare daily meals and confidently cook for a large family
- Assist with household inventory management, including monitoring groceries and household supplies
- Provide occasional childcare support alongside the family’s nanny
- Support smooth day-to-day household operations across both Manhattan and Long Island residences
- Maintain tidy and organized living spaces, kitchens, and common areas
- Adapt to the family’s changing schedule and transitions between homes
- Live in while on shift to ensure flexibility and seamless household support

The housekeeper should be fluent in Spanish because that is the families primary language.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a similar role within a private household
- Strong housekeeping and household management skills
- Confident cooking abilities, including preparing meals for a larger family
- Comfortable providing occasional childcare support
- Excellent organizational and inventory management skills
- Able to work between Manhattan and Long Island residences
- Willing and able to live in while working – must go home on days off
- Fluent Spanish speaker preferred
- Excellent professional references
- Legal to work in the United States
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
