About the Family

A warm and attentive family in Rockville Centre, NY is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and highly dependable nanny to care for their 17-month-old daughter. Both parents have hybrid work schedules, so one or both may occasionally be working from home, with some days requiring an earlier start when both parents commute to Manhattan.

The family is seeking someone who is exceptionally trustworthy, safety-conscious, patient, and genuinely engaged with their daughter. They value a calm, communicative caregiver who will provide loving, attentive care while keeping the parents informed and helping build a strong foundation of trust.

Responsibilities

  • Provide loving, attentive, and highly engaged care for the family’s 17-month-old daughter.
  • Keep the child’s physical safety and emotional well-being a top priority at all times.

  • Be trained and comfortable administering an EpiPen and responding appropriately in the event of an allergic emergency, including calling 911 when necessary. Someone who has used an EpiPen successfully would be a huge bonus!
  • Communicate openly and proactively with the parents regarding the child’s day, schedule, routine, and any concerns.
