A private family in Greenwich is seeking an experienced and dependable Part-Time Nanny to join their household. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for someone who is warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships with children, while bringing confidence, discretion, and professionalism to the role.
The ideal candidate is thoughtful, composed, and trustworthy, with excellent judgment and strong communication skills. They should be comfortable navigating a dynamic household and maintaining complete confidentiality at all times. The family values someone who is steady, intuitive, and confident in their role while communicating collaboratively with the parents and their existing nanny.
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday: 2:00 PM-7:00 PM
Every other Friday: 12:00 PM-7:00 PM
Every other Saturday & Sunday: 11:30 AM-7:00 PM
42 guaranteed hours every two weeks
Compensation: $50-$60/hour
Responsibilities:

Provide warm, attentive care and create a positive, engaging environment for the children

Handle school pick-ups and transportation to activities, appointments, and other scheduled commitments

Manage afternoon and evening routines, helping keep the children’s schedules running smoothly

Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities based on the children’s interests and needs

Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed

Keep children’s belongings and spaces organized and tidy

Accompany the children to scheduled commitments while confidently following established family guidelines and protocols

Work closely and collaboratively with the family’s existing nanny and parents to provide consistency for the children

Maintain thoughtful communication, discretion, confidentiality, and appropriate professional boundaries at all times
