We are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper for a private residence in Brooklyn. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, and has a strong background maintaining upscale private homes. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and enjoys creating a clean, organized, and well-maintained home.
Schedule: 3 days per week, 8 hours per day (24 hours weekly). Flexible on days.
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $40-$45/hour
Responsibilities:
– Maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of the residence
– Handle household laundry, ironing, and linen care
– Organize closets, cabinets, and household storage areas
– Assist with occasional errands and household shopping
– Monitor household supplies and replenish as needed
– Assist with general household projects and seasonal organization
– Communicate with outside service providers when necessary
Qualifications:
– Previous professional housekeeping experience in private residences
– Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and care of fine furnishings and surfaces
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs
– Comfortable in a family environment with pets
– Professional, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy
– Strong references from previous private employers
