Position: Full-Time Housekeeper / Nanny (Live In or Live Out)
Location: Dix Hills, NY (Long Island)
Schedule Options (Flexibility Required):
- Live-In: Approx. 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM & 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (split schedule) or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Live-Out : Potential 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM schedule
- Flexibility is essential, with occasional adjustments to support the family’s needs
Compensation: $30 per hour

A warm and welcoming family in Dix Hills is actively seeking to hire immediately and is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper / Nanny to join their household as soon as possible. They are open to both live-in and live-out candidates depending on availability and fit.
The family has three young boys—a 4-year-old, a nearly 2-year-old, and a newborn arriving shortly. They are looking for someone who can step in right away, provide reliable support, and grow with their family long-term.
Position Summary
This is a dual-role position combining hands-on housekeeping with childcare support, particularly during morning and evening routines. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and highly organized—someone who can take direction well while also working independently and anticipating the needs of the household.

The role requires a strong understanding of how to keep a home running smoothly, with the ability to balance childcare and household responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Morning (7:30 AM – 9:30 AM):
- Assist with morning childcare routines
- Prepare and serve breakfast for the family
- Clean and organize the kitchen after breakfast
- Start laundry
Midday Break
Afternoon/Evening (1:00 PM – 7:00 PM):
- Continue and manage household laundry
- Perform light cleaning and general home upkeep
- Provide childcare support as needed
- Assist with or prepare dinner for the family
- Eat dinner with the family when appropriate
- Clean up after dinner and reset the kitchen
- Complete any remaining household tasks
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in both housekeeping and childcare, particularly with young children and infants
- Patient, warm, and engaging with children
- Able to take direction from both parents while also working independently
- Proactive and intuitive—able to see what needs to be done without constant instruction
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable to changing family needs
- Interested in a long-term role and becoming part of the family dynamic
Requirements
- Experience caring for multiple young children (infant experience preferred)
- Strong housekeeping and laundry skills
- Excellent references
