Position: Part-Time Housekeeper
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ
Schedule: 2 days per week — Tuesday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday
Hours: Approximately 8–9 hours per day
Start Time: Flexible between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Ideal Schedule: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with flexibility for an earlier end time
Salary: $35–$40/hour
Start Date: ASAP
About the Family
A private family in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper to maintain their home on a consistent weekly schedule.
The family is flexible regarding the exact start and end times and is open to working with the right candidate to create a schedule that works well for both parties.
Children: 14 and 16 years old
Home Size: 6,000 sq ft
Pets: 2 dogs, Golden Retrievers
Other Staff: a housekeeper 2 times a week
Responsibilities
- Thorough cleaning and maintenance of the home
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning all surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen
- Laundry and folding
- Changing linens and making beds
- Keeping closets and household areas organized and tidy
- Maintaining a consistently clean and orderly home
- Assisting with additional household cleaning tasks as needed
- Prepare meals
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of housekeeping experience in private homes
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- A reliable and consistent work history
- Professional references
- A positive, hardworking, and proactive attitude
- Driver’s License
