The ideal candidate will have experience caring for a high-end home and take pride in keeping everything consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained. They should be proactive, thorough, and comfortable caring for fine furnishings with attention to detail.
The family is looking for someone who can work independently, take initiative, and help keep the home clean and comfortable throughout the week. This is a great opportunity for a dependable housekeeper seeking a part-time, long-term position with a friendly family.
What Works Best for the Family
The family prefers someone who can work while their daughter is at school, ideally from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, two or three days per week. They are slightly flexible on the schedule for the right candidate.
The family is looking for someone who can help keep the home consistently clean rather than relying solely on periodic deep cleanings. The family has a friendly, hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog.

Position Responsibilities
- Housekeeping: Full housekeeping and general home maintenance, including bathrooms, showers, dusting, bookshelves, baseboards, cobwebs, and keeping all used areas consistently clean.
- Organization: Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly home while handling household items and furnishings with care.
- Laundry: Minimal; the existing weekend housekeeper handles the family’s laundry. Occasional washing of cleaning rags may be needed.
- Errands: Occasional quick grocery errand, as needed.
- Childcare: None required; the position is scheduled around the daughter’s school hours.
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week, ideally 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, two or three days per week. Some flexibility is available for the right candidate.
- Languages: English
- Experience: Previous professional housekeeping experience, preferably in a high-end, large private home.
- References: Minimum of 2 professional references.
- Background: Must pass stringent background checks upon offer of hire.
- Personality Traits: Dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Position Compensation
- Salary: $35-40/hour, flexible depending on experience.
