Private Family in Haverford, Pennsylvania Seeking Family Assistant / Nanny
Position: Full-Time Live-In or Live-Out Family Assistant / Nanny
Schedule: Monday Afternoon – Friday Afternoon (40 hours/week + overnight coverage)
Schedule overview (40 hours guaranteed):
Monday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM & 2:30 PM – 9:00 PM + Overnight (stipend)
Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM & 2:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Thursday: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM & 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Salary: $30–$35 per hour after taxes (flexible depending on experience) + $150 overnight stipend

About the Family
A warm and welcoming private family located in Haverford, Pennsylvania is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Family Assistant / Nanny to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.
This role can be structured as either live-in (weekdays) or live-out, provided the candidate can fully commit to the schedule. Occasional weekend stays are welcomed if helpful, though the family generally prefers the candidate to return home most weekends.

Household Staff: Part-time deep cleaner currently employed (this role focuses on daily upkeep)
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare, including school pick-ups and managing afternoon and evening routines
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the family
- Assist with morning routines, including breakfast and school preparation
- Support bath and bedtime routines
- Coordinate school schedules, extracurricular activities, camps, and appointments
- Pack for school, activities, and family travel
- Provide overnight supervision during parent travel (children sleep through the night)
- Manage family laundry, including linens and bedding
- Handle grocery shopping, meal planning, and light meal preparation
- Maintain organization of the kitchen, bedrooms, and common areas
- Keep household inventory stocked and organized
- Run errands, returns, and personal shopping
- Manage household calendar logistics
- Prepare the home for weekends to ensure the family is set up and organized
Additional Details
- A car will be provided for both work-related and personal use during working days
- Compensation is flexible for the right candidate
- Overnight coverage is typically one night per week (with occasional additional nights), compensated at a $150 stipend per night
- The family is seeking someone who can be flexible if scheduling needs shift

Requirements
- At least 5 years prior experience in a similar nanny / family assistant / household management role
- 2 Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willing to provide overnight coverage as needed
