Position: Live-Out NY Nanny, Tuesday-Saturday, Summer in Hamptons Live-In (7 days on/7 days off, or other agreed upon arrangement). Fluency of Mandarin a plus, though not required.
Schedule: NY City: Tuesday – Friday 1:00 pm – 6:30 pm, with flexibility to stay later on 1-2 nights as needed.
Saturday is a longer day, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm with availability/flexibility to stay until approx. 10 pm for later nights.
Summer in Southampton, NY: 7 days on/7 days off, alternating with the other Nanny on staff. Other arrangements can also be discussed.
Salary: The family will guarantee a weekly salary based on a 35-40 hour week @ $45 per hour, depending on experience, flexible for the right fit.
Paid Time Off: Major holidays, vacation, personal/sick days.
Will consider a health insurance stipend if needed.
Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found.
Relocation: No – local candidates only.

The position is based on the Upper East Side, however, the family is looking for a flexible candidate who can travel domestically, including Summer in Southampton.
Children: (G)6, (G)10. They are in school daily (approx. 30 min. walk) from 8-3pm. After-school activities vary: piano, violin, ballet, tennis, squash, and math
Household Staff: Full-time Nanny of 6+ years staff drives in the city for pick up, etc. During the week, it’s typical for each Nanny to primarily oversee the care of 1 child each, except on Saturdays. The family also has a Full-Time Chef/Housekeeper
Responsibilities
- Provide childcare with a nurturing and attentive approach supporting the other Nanny on staff for 6+ years
- Help with homework
- Accompany to after-school activities, including piano, violin, ballet, tennis, squash, and math
- Maintain a tidy and organized environment for the child, including their bedroom, closet, and shared spaces
- Simple children’s meal prep
- Child’s laundry
- Support ocassional travel as needed (overnight fee and transportation covered)

Requirements
- Previous long term experience with school-aged children
- Languages: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus, though not required, for language immersion and educational goals
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record to drive in Southampton, NY
- Availability for occasional travel as needed
- Minimum of 2 references required
