Position: Full-Time, After-School Nanny/Family Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-10:30 AM–6:30 PM | 40 hours/week
Salary: $40.00 hourly rate
Start Date: Flexible
Relocation: No – local candidates only
About the Family
A private family in Manhattan is seeking a dependable and proactive After-School Nanny/ Family Assistant to help keep their household running smoothly. The girls will go to sleepaway camp during the summer and the family typically spends July/August out East. The candidate is not required to travel with them and they will guarantee pay during this time.

Children: Two daughters, ages 10 and 7, The girls attend School on the UES and have various extracurricular activities including: Russian School of Math, chess, hip-hop. They are at sleepaway camp in the summer.

Household Staff: Full-time deep cleaner housekeeper
Responsibilities

Pick up children from school on the UES (6 Train) and take them to activities

Assist with after-school routines, homework, and bathtime for the 7 year old

Provide childcare when children are home from school or during holidays

Grocery shop and maintain food supplies
- Prepare simple, family-style meals approx. four days per week

Handle family laundry, folding, and putting away

Provide light housekeeping and household tidying, Family has a deepcleaner

Help keep the household organized and running smoothly
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with school-aged children. They will provide hands-on household support, including cooking simple meals daily for the family. Must be dependable, proactive, organized, and comfortable taking direction. They should communicate well, follow through on tasks, and be confident enough to suggest improvements when appropriate.
Requirements

Prior experience in a similar role

Comfortable preparing simple family meals

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
