This opportunity is with a warm and active family based in Thousand Oaks, California, seeking a dedicated live-in Pet Care Nanny to provide attentive and loving care for their two beloved dogs. The family maintains a dynamic lifestyle between their primary residence in Thousand Oaks and a secondary home in Newport Beach, requiring a flexible and reliable professional who can support their pets’ needs across both locations. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with daily dog care routines, errands, vet appointments and occasional domestic travel, ensuring the pets’ well-being and happiness throughout the family’s varied schedule.
- Pets: Two dogs – German Shepherd and a Malti-poo
- Household Staff: Housekeeper
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time care for two dogs, including morning and evening feeding and daily exercise.
- Take dogs to the park each morning for walks and afternoon play sessions around 4:00 PM for socialization.
- Transport dogs between the family’s office and home using the provided Jeep.
- Care for dogs at the Newport Beach residence during family vacations or as needed, including overnight stays.
- Run local errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and post office visits to support household needs.
- Manage appointments and transportation for veterinary visits and grooming every two weeks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and punctual approach to all duties.
- Domestic travel may be required to support the family’s lifestyle and pet care needs.
